The National Monuments Service's description

At the N end of a slight N-S ridge on the N-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. Circular grass-covered and flat-topped mound (diam. of base 9m E-W; 8.6m N-S; diam. of top 2.2m E-W; 2.6m N-S; H 1.5-1.8m) separated by a fosse (Wth of base 2.5m) from an earthen bank (Wth 3.2-5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.6-1.2m) SE-W. The bank has been levelled into the fosse to create a berm (Wth 4.2m) defined by a scarp (H 0.7-1m) W-N-SE (max. ext. diam. 22.4m E-W). Ditch-barrow (RO022-056007-) is c. 30m to the S. (Knox 1914, 40-1; Herity 1983, 131; 1984, 131, Grallagh 1; Waddell 1983, 37, No. 32; Waddell 1988, 10)
