The National Monuments Service's description
On the N-facing slope of a rise in a low-lying undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 29m N-S; 27.5m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.4m at S to 2.3m at N), with a fosse (Wth of base 3m; ext. D 0.4m) WNW-N where it is protected by an E-W field bank. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO022-044001-) is c. 200m to the NW.
