The National Monuments Service's description

At the NE-facing crest of a broad NW-SE ridge, and known locally as Temple Maoil. According to local information the church (RO020-058001-) was used as a childrens' burial ground into the 20th century, but there is no evidence of an enclosure or burial. Cist (RO020-058002-) was found nearby.
