The National Monuments Service's description
At the NE-facing crest of a broad NW-SE ridge, and known locally as Temple Maoil. This is a rectangular structure (int. dims 7m E-W; 6.45m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with facing stones at N (Wth 1.3m; H 0.1-0.3m) and W (Wth 0.7m; H 0.2m) and slight scarps elsewhere. There are slight traces of a cell (int. dim 2m E-W) attached to the E. It is protruding from a mound (dims 16.8m E-W; 13m N-S; H 0.3m E-S to 0.7m at N) which was used as a childrens' burial ground (RO020-058003-), but there is no evidence of an enclosure or burial. Cist (RO020-058002-) was found nearby. (Beirne 2000, 283)
