This is a circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. c. 60m E-W; 56.5m N-S) defined by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5.3-7.8m; Wth of base 2.9-4m; int. D 0.4-0.6m; ext. D 0.3-0.8m), and an outer earthen bank with some bushes NE-E (Wth of base 6.3m; Wth of top 2.3m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.9m) and SE-WNW (Wth of base 2.8-4.5m; int. H 0.3-08m; ext. H 0.2-0.3m) that is incorporated into a field bank WNW-NE. The fosse is missing NE-SE.
