The National Monuments Service's description
On the crest of a low NW-SE ridge with a W-E section of the Lung River c. 270m to the SW. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 50m E-W; 48m N-S) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.6m) SE-SSW and a scarp and hedge (H 1.2m at N) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Archaeological testing (05E0513) c. 40m to the E of failed to produce any related material (Read 2008a).
