The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the SE end of tear-shaped Tully Lough (dims. c. 600m NW-SE, c. 120m NE-SW at SE to c. 400m NE-SW at NW), c. 50m from the S shore. Circular overgrown island (diam. 20m) of earth and stones (H 0.4m) with two upright posts visible underwater at SE and several horizontal timbers also visible underwater SW-WNW. Quernstone fragments are at the centre. Crannog (RO017-109----) is c. 320m to the WNW, and crannog (RO017-110----) is c. 190m to the NW.
