The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the E end of Lough Nahincha (dims c. 1.2 km E-W; c. 100-300m N-S) where the lake is widest, c. 50m from the N shore and c. 90m from the S shore. Circular overgrown island (diam. c. 45m) with a cairn (diam. c. 22.5m; H 1m) at the centre which covers the mortared stone foundations of a rectangular building (RO017-09002-) (ext. dims 10m E-W; 5m N-S). Fragments of quernstones can be found on the surface. Crannog (RO017-091----) is c. 60m to the ENE, and crannog (RO017-092----) is c. 90m to the SE.
