The National Monuments Service's description

On a low knoll. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 32m E-W; 30m N-S) defined by a scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.2-0.55m; ext. H 1m) SW-W-NE, and a straight scarp (H 1.2-1.5m) E-S where some quarrying has occurred. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Cashel (RO017-056----) is c. 90m to the W.
