The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight NW-SE ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 58.5m N-S; 51m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.7m at N to 1.4-1.6m generally). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. A depression (L 20.5m; Wth 3m; D 0.2-0.5m) running NW-SE in the NW sector may be a collapsed souterrain (RO016-095001-), while an outer scarp (H 1m) 15m outside the perimeter W-NE is the remains of an outer enclosing feature. An ENE-WSW field wall and townland boundary with Kilmacumsy to the S bisects the interior.
