Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 39m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 5.5m at N to 6.3m at S; int. H 0.5m at W to 1.05m at S; ext. H 1.8m generally to 2.2m at S) NNW-S-W, which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.5m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 8.5m; Wth of base 4.7-5.3m; D 0.7-0.9m) NNE-E-SW. The entrance (Wth 1.95m), partly revetted with stone, is at E. The fosse is truncated by a NNW-SSE field wall at W and by an ENE-WSW field bank at N.
