The National Monuments Service's description

In the yard of an 18th/19th century house. Described in gothic lettering as 'Moinighan's Well' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. There is no other information and it is not visible at ground level. This was probably just an ordinary well in a farmyard attached to Lissadorn House, c. 100m to the SE.
