The National Monuments Service's description
At the SW end of a slight NE-SW ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (diam. 31m) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 5-5.6m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m) NW-N and SE-SSW, with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5-3.6m; D 0.5m) SW-N-E that has been quarried at NW. There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO016-086----) is c. 160m to the WSW.
