The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small feature (diam. c. 10m), and situated on a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 7m) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.1-2.3m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.2m at S to 0.8m at N) with intermittently visible outer facing stones. There is no visible entrance, and a clearance cairn (diam. 6m; H 1.2m) obscures the perimeter N-E.
