The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in improved, level pasture, on a very gentle S-facing slope. It was first identified by Susan Curran as part of an M.A. thesis with University College Dublin using a LiDAR survey dataset commissioned by Leitrim County Council and the National Roads Authority. This is a circular area (diam. 24m NNW-SSE) defined by a scarp which is best preserved (at W: Wth 2.7m; H 0.35m) SE-W-N. It is bisected by a NNW-SSE field bank and drain and the scarp is less prominent (at SE: Wth 2.7m; H 0.35m), but still traceable, E of this feature. There is no visible fosse or entrance.
