The National Monuments Service's description
The mass rock from Knockananima (RO011-167002-), c. 1.2km to the N, was incorporated into the original altar of the Roman Catholic church of Drumlion at Drumercool when the church was built in 1856 (Keenehan et al. 2006). It can be seen protruding from the back of the altar.
