The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the top of the E-facing slope of a drumlin overlooking the River Shannon, c. 180m to the NE. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 38m) defined by a scarp (H 0.2m at NW to 0.9m at S), with an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5m; D 0.3-0.4m) NE-SE. There is no visible entrance. A NE-SW field bank overlies the monument towards the perimeter at NW, and a hedge is on the perimeter N-SE while a WNW-ESE field bank is just to the SW of the perimeter at SW.
