The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 30m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) truncated by field banks at NW and NE, and situated on a shelf of a gentle SW-facing slope. Described as a fragment of a bank E-S (Gannon 1972), it is not visible at ground level in pasture.
