The National Monuments Service's description

On a low-lying, level landscape. D-shaped grass-covered but poached area (dims 25m NW-SE; 16.8m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank planted with mature deciduous trees (Wth 3.5m at ENE to 4.8m at SW; int. H 0.3-0.7m; ext. H 0.9-1m) S-W-ENE and a scarp (H 0.45-0.65m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance, but an E-W field bank truncates the perimeter slightly at N. Rath (RO011-041----) is c. 115m to the NNW and rath (RO011-042----) is c. 135m to the N.
