The National Monuments Service's description
At the bottom of a NW-facing slope with a SW-NE stream or drain immediately to the N. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 36.5 N-S; 35m E-W) defined by a gapped earthen bank (at S: Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.8m; at N: Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H. 1.6m). A fosse (Gannon 1972) cannot be seen now, and the site is cut by an E-W laneway S of the centre and partly obscured with spoil. Rath (RO011-013----) is c. 60m to the NE, but archaeological testing (00E0180) c. 30m to the NW failed to produce any archaeological material (Lennon 2002b). Rath (RO011-014001-) is c. 170m to the SE,
