The National Monuments Service's description
In Cavetown Lough (dims. c. 1.5 km E-W; c. 300-700m N-S), at the narrower E end c. 50m from the E shore and c. 140m from the S shore. Circular overgrown island (diam.17m; H 1m) composed of stone and carrying an 18th or 19th-century limestone memorial. There is no evidence of timber construction. Crannog (RO010-034----) is c. 60m to the NNW.
