The National Monuments Service's description

Just to the south of the larger church (RO007-087001-) within the graveyard (RO007-087002-). Rectangular structure (int. dims 4m E-W; 2.75m N-S) surviving in good condition with gables intact. The walls (Wth 0.56m) are of coursed, mortared limestone masonry with broken-out window opes at the E end of the S wall and in the E wall. The doorway opening (Wth 1.13m) is at the W end of the S wall and there is an aumbry niche (Wth 0.4m; H 0.45m; D 0.24m) at the E end of the N wall. A stone altar (RO007-087006-) (L 1.26m; Wth 0.75m; H 0.7m) is against the interior of the E wall. Its good condition suggest it is later in date than the main church. (O' Flanagan, 1931, vol. 1, 121-2; D'alton 1845, 117; Wakeman 1887-8, 107-11)

See the attached views of the altar (003) and general views from SW (004) and SE (005).
