The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of a drumlin, c. 50m from the E shore of a bay (dims c. 750m N-S; c. 350m E-W) at the N end of Lough Eidin. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 32m) defined by an earthen bank with trees (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.2-1.5m; ext. H 0.2-1.5m) N-E-S which has been augmented with spoil (ext. H 0.3-1m) elsewhere. There is an external drain S-W-N, but there is no visible fosse or entrance. A test excavation (98E0589) just to the SE failed to produce any evidence of outer features (Walsh 2000a). Rath (RO007-075----) is c. 160m to the E and rath (RO007-076----) is c. 150m to the SE.
