The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small feature (diam. c. 15m), and situated on a flat, low-lying landscape c. 200m from the NW shore of an arm of Lough Eidin. D-shaped grass-covered area with trees (dims 13.5m E-W; 10.4-13m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-1m) with traces of facing-stones. A modern lime-kiln is built into its SW side, and a N-S field bank cuts the perimeter at E. Rath (RO007-072----) is c. 140m to the WSW.
