The National Monuments Service's description
On a level landscape. Excavation (96E0050) of a mound (dims 10m E-W; 9m N-S; max. H 0.6m) of broken and burnt stones did not uncover a trough, although it may have been outside the area excavated. Immediately to the SE was a brushwood togher (RO006-207002-). (Opie 1997b)
