The National Monuments Service's description
On the lower NW-facing slope of Longford Hill, c. 100m from the SE shore of Lough Key. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 34m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by scarps (H 0.4-0.5m) at W and N, a field wall at E, and an earthen bank (Wth 5.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.3m) with an outer moat (Wth of top 6m; D 0.3m) at S. Enclosure (RO006-202002-) is c. 15m to the SW.
