The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a rectangular feature (dims. c. 25m E-W; c. 20m N-S), and situated on a SW-facing slope, c. 50m from the E shore of Lough Key. Rectangular overgrown area (int. dims. 24.3m WNW-ESE; 16.6m NNE-SSW) defined by tumbled drystone walls (Wth 2-2.8m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 0.7-1.1m), those on the N and E being part of the current field system, but the corners at SW and SE are curved.
