The National Monuments Service's description
Marked on the 1837 and 1914 eds. of the OS 6-inch map, and built into the steep NE-facing slope of a ravine above a stream with a farmstead c. 70m to the W on the other side of a NW-SE road. Circular stone-built chamber (int. diam. 1.55m; H 2m) with inclining walls and a lintelled roof. The lintelled entrance ( Wth 0.4m; H 0.53m; L 1m) is at E. The dome rises slightly above the top of the ravine and soot is visible on the walls.
