The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and built into an artificial scarp on a S-facing slope with a deserted farmstead just to the W. There are two conjoined chambers, the E is rectangular (int. dims.1.25m x 1.1m; H 1m) with a lintelled roof and with an entrance at S (Wth 0.45m; H 0.65). It is connected by an open hatch (Wth 0.85m; H 0.2m; L 0.7m) to the W chamber which is D-shaped (int. dims. 1.2m N-S; 0.8m E-W; H 1.2m) with a corbelled roof and which has an entrance (Wth 0.4m; H 0.5-0.85m; L 1.15m) at S. Sweathouse (RO002-025----) is c. 240m to the ENE.
