The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the top of the SW-facing slope of Kilronan Mountain in a clearing in a coniferous forest. Wedge-shaped chamber (int. dims 4.8m ENE-WSW; 1.8m NNW-SSE at E to 1.95m NNW-SSW at W) consisting of ten orthostats and a backstone (dims. 1.7m x 0.35m; H 0.75m) had a portico (dims 2m NNW-SSE; 1.35m ENE-WSW) at the W end separated from the chamber by a sillstone (dims 0.7m x 0.25m; H 0.3m) which does not block the opening. The stones are generally 0.3-0.6m high, and there are possible kerbstones of the original cairn to the SW of the gallery. No evidence of roofstones survives.
