The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 1.3m min.; Wth 0.73m; D 0.06m) is orientated NNW-SSE and composed of regularly laid brushwood on the field surface The majority of the brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.028m) is longitudinally laid with the elements evenly spaced 0.02-0.03m apart. In form, this site resembles a hurdle panel and may be the remains of such. The wood is in poor condition with a single degraded toolmark present. This site lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat with large amounts of Eriophorum and ericaceous remains.
