The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 3.7m min.; Wth 2.2m; D 0.118m) is orientated NE-SW and composed of densely packed longitudinal brushwood, roundwoods and twig beds. The brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.058m) and the roundwoods (diam. 0.072-0.114m) have twig beds above and around them. The wood is in good condition with a single wedge point present. This site lies in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with a small amount of Eriophorum.
