The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 71.6m min.; Wth 4.8m; D 0.09m) is orientated N-S and varies along its length from deposits of irregular, dispersed brushwood to substantial longitudinal hurdle panels. At one sighting it consists of an irregular deposit of brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.05m), roundwoods (diam. 0.06-0.075m) and a hurdle panel. The brushwood and roundwoods are sparsely laid. The hurdle panel is situated at the E edge of this material and is longitudinally laid. The brushwood and roundwoods are in poor condition having suffered machine damage. It lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Radiocarbon dated to 2835-2033 cal. BC (Wk-11731). The overall condition of the site varies from poor to excellent.
