The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 18.68m min.; Wth 1.74m min.; D 0.18m) is orientated E-W and is comprised of brushwood (diam. 0.011-0.054m), roundwoods (diam. 0.07-0.09m) and occasional twigs but its composition varies along its length. The elements are closely spaced and one to three pieces deep. Most of the roundwoods and a small number of brushwood are laid transversely, however, the majority of the brushwood is irregularly laid. There are also a small number of longitudinal elements. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous remains.
