The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 1.19m min.; Wth 0.68m; D 0.08m) is orientated N-S. It consists of densely packed brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.036m) one to two pieces deep. The bulk of the wood is laid longitudinally but there are two apparent transverses set c. 0.4m apart, which overlie these. The site is in moderately to well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. It is possible that this site is the remnants of a hurdle panel but damage due to milling and desiccation have destroyed any evidence of a weave. There is a single piece of heavy brushwood (L 0.29m) 0.36m to the N which is orientated N-S. SMR OF019-025---- is 1.3m to the E and SMR OF019-027---- is 3.2m to the W.
