The National Monuments Service's description

Not depicted on the 1st or 2nd ed. OS 6-inch maps but marked on 1908 ed. as a circular hollow enclosed by a bank. New roadway has destroyed whatever potential monument that was located here. Indicated as a small hachured enclosure or possibly a quarry immediately S of the main Daingean-Edenderry road on the 1908 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Not indicated on the first and second eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. No trace visible at ground level.
