The National Monuments Service's description
A complex of archaeological sites identified by BnM personnel. An unknown number of brushwood and roundwood sites were noted in this general location but have since been destroyed (Mr J. Kilmurray, BnM, pers. comm.). Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1990. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
