The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 8.6m min.; Wth 3.23m; D 0.27m min.) is orientated NNW-SSE and consists of mixed brushwood, a roundwood, occasional twigs and a single post at its S extent. The elements are closely spaced, one piece in depth and generally transversely laid, although some pieces are in irregular positions. There are a number of further potential uprights but these pieces may have been compressed and dislodged as a result of machine activity. The wood is in poor to moderate condition and branch-trimming and a number of chisel points were noted. The site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous remains and unidentified reeds.
