The National Monuments Service's description
The site (L 13.55m min.; Wth 3.66m; D 0.06m min.) is orientated NNW-SSE and consists of transverse brushwood, roundwoods and occasional twigs, which are closely spaced and one to two pieces in depth. The wood is generally in poor condition and some of the brushwood appears to have been disturbed into irregular positions. Metal-cut chisel points were noted, some of which have signatures. The site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum.
