The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 3.83m min.; Wth 1.04m; D 0.05m) is orientated NW-SE and consists of densely packed, longitudinal mixed brushwood laid two pieces deep. Where exposed, the site has suffered extensive machine damage. Many of the elements are broken and displaced, however, there is an undisturbed portion to the NW where the site is well preserved. Three metal-cut chisel points were noted. The site is set in poorly to moderately humified Sphagnum peat with a large amount of Eriophorum and some unidentified reeds.
