The National Monuments Service's description
A plank walkway (L 15.36m min.; Wth 0.23m; D 0.09m) orientated NE-SW and evident at two sightings in the drain face. At both sightings, the site consists of a single plank. At one sighting, the plank (Wth 0.23; D 0.09m) is in moderate condition. It lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat containing ericaceous root and Eriophorum, with some hazelnut shells. This timber produced a dendrochronological date of AD 626±9 or later (Q9295).
