The National Monuments Service's description

The site (L 3.72m; D 0.12m) is composed of brushwood and roundwoods in the drain base. The brushwood is predominantly light and is up to four pieces deep. Its orientation is difficult to discern as a result of machine disturbance but many pieces appear to be orientated E-W. A smaller number running in a NW-SE direction are more apparent towards the NW edge of the site. Towards the SE, four upright pieces of brushwood may have functioned as pegs. The roundwoods are confined to the NW end and are orientated approximately N-S, overlying the brushwood. Here, the site is more disturbed and the orientation of the brushwood is less regular. Chisel points are noted on the ends of a number of pieces. Wood species include birch, willow, alder and Pomoideae. The site sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat containing pockets of Eriophorum. It is one of thirteen sites in close proximity in a 30m stretch of this drain, including SMR OF015-243----, 2.2m to the NW. It may be part of a substantially longer site represented also by SMR OF015-247---- and SMR OF015-252----, which continue in the drain base immediately to the SE of this site. Other possible sightings include SMR OF015-246----, SMR OF015-248----, SMR OF015-250---- and SMR OF015-253----.
