The National Monuments Service's description
The site (Wth 0.42m; D 0.09m) is orientated SSE-NNW and composed of a radially split, longitudinal oak plank (Wth 0.16m; D 0.07m) and an oak roundwood (diam. 0.09m). At the drain face the wood appeared on the field surface and sloped sharply downwards into the peat.
