The National Monuments Service's description
The site (Wth 0.95m; D 0.1m) consists of a loose distribution of light brushwood on the field surface. The brushwood is orientated irregularly but shows a tendency to lie in a NW-SE direction. Evidence for woodworking is not apparent. The presence of a peg lying at a 90° angle is suggestive of a more substantial feature than the horizontal elements would suggest. Wood species include ash. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat.
