The National Monuments Service's description

The site (Wth 0.51m; D 0.13m) consists of compact mixed brushwood with occasional twigs on the field surface The brushwood is up to five pieces deep and a number of outlying pieces are noted. There is no evidence for woodworking. The wood is considerably broken, most likely as a result of machine damage. Wood species include ash and hazel. The site sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat.
