The National Monuments Service's description

The site (Wth 0.41m; D 0.1m) is orientated NE-SW. It consists of a single layer of seven predominantly oak roundwoods (av. diam. 0.06m) and oak and birch brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.045m) with occasional outlying pieces of brushwood. The wood is generally in poor condition probably indicating that the site was exposed for some time before being enveloped by peat.
