The National Monuments Service's description

Situated at the summit of a drumlin. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 39m WNW-ESE; 39m N-S) that slopes down to the E. It is defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth of base 6.4-7m; int. H 0.2m at E to 1.4m at W; ext. H 1.4m at W to 1.9m at E), with an outer fosse (at WNW: Wth of top 4.8m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 0.9m) and slight outer bank (at WNW: Wth of base 3m; ext. H 0.3m) W-NNW. There are entrances at NNE (Wth of base 2m) and SW (Wth of base 1m).
