The National Monuments Service's description
Located on the SE-facing spine of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. This is a D-shaped grass and furze-covered area (dims 45m NNW-SSE; c. 26m ENE-WSW) that slopes down to the S (H 3m) defined by a low earthen bank (at NNW: Wth of base 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6m) that is reduced to a broad rise (at SSE: Wth 14m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.9m) or low scarp (at W: Wth 2.5m; H 1.6m) SE-W. The monument is bisected by a NNW-SSE field bank and no evidence of it survives E of this feature. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
