The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a NE-facing slope with a NW-SE portion of the Broad Meadow River c. 300m to the NE. The faint cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single slight fosse is visible on an oblique aerial photograph (CUCAP: BDP 028) from 1970. It is also visible on OSIAP (1995).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
