The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in a slight S-N valley, with a small S-N stream immediately to the W. It is depicted as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1836 and 1908 editions of the OS 6-inch map, with a house inside the perimeter at S on the earlier map. It is a circular grass-covered area defined by a field bank with an entrance gap at S.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
